Wipocalypse May check-in, and CJC

First of all, thanks for the lovely comments <3.  So, time for the next WIPocalypse check-in , I have been working my tail of :) but I managed to do some stitching, one more page on the Legend of Zelda stained glass project.

Slow progress, but something at least. This is also the only Crazy January project I´ve been working on.

Well, that´s it. Off to see what you all have been working on!

Wipocalypse April check-in, and CJC

Hi! Well, what can I say, not the most active blogger, am I? But at least I have managed to do some stitching. Time for a Wipocalypse check-in !

First up: Stained glass Zelda. One more page done, upper left corner. 16 more pages to go. So far I have only used threads that I had in my stash, interesting to see how far I can go before I have to hit the store ;)

  

 I´m so in love with this, can´t wait to see it on the wall! My older daughter claimed this, might have to make one for myself also :) My girls are also HUGE Zelda-fans, just like me.

Next up: Koi carp hanging, part of my Crazy january challenge. This is where I left it in Januari:

And here is it now. This is for my younger daughter and she has requested that I make the second carp gray/black. For this I have also only used stuff I already had.

Wipocalypse March check-in and CJC update

Thanks to the WIPocalypse, this month I worked on another Geisha from Dimensions, started it too many years ago... And haven´t touched it for  ages...

And here it is after a months work. It´s amazing to see progress this way, when you stitch it feels like nothing is happening, but then you see the change, it´s fun!

Wipocalypse Februari check-in, and CJC

Another month just flew by! Time for  the next WIPocalypse update

I keep working on the Zelda stained glass project, finished one page, thats 3 down, 17 to go:

Crazy January first finish!!

I finaly have my first finish, a small one, but still. Feels good ;)

I´ll hang this in the kitchen. Very nice to have a finished project, now on to the rest!

WIPocalypse first check-in, and CJC starts 11-15

So, my very first WIPocalypse report, yay! I just joined a few days before deadline so that´s why this is almost a last minute post.
First up: Scarlet Wizard by Dimensions. This is where I left it a few years ago...:

I made it! 15 new WIPs. I also have 15 UFOs that will be a part of this, but they are not listed yet, I´m just glad I kept up with starting a new one every day for 15 days.

Crazy January days 4, 5, 6 and 7

So, not enough time left to blog, when all I wanna do is stitch! Starts 4-7:

Mika Häkkinen, finally starting this, had it for 7 years now, I think. Thats the great thing about this challenge, even if I don´t finish these, at least I´ve started stiching them.

Wine , a set of three, the first is almost finished (will be one of my 15 UFOs) , this is the second one.

Crazy January days 1, 2 and 3

Here are my 3 first starts :

Day 3: With enough coffee I can last the day, made good progress on this.

Now some sleep, more stitching tomorrow!

Crazy January Challenge update

Crazy january challenge 2012

This is what I´ve come up with so far:

-Pot of flowers

-With enough coffee I can last the day

- Small winter-card

- Koi hanging

- Keep calm and cross stitch

- Gingham heart red

-Gingham heart white

-HAED Cinderella

- Wine 1

- Wine 2

( The almost finished one in the middle is there just for show, as I can´t find the picture. It´s a set of three, the unfinished one will also be in the challenge as I´m also making 15 UFO`s)

-HAED Fantasy fairy

- Mika Häkkinen (I´m looking forward to stitching this, I´ve had it for ages)

- Roses tablecloth (this might be replaced yet)

-Popcorn fishing

So there are my first 14, this list might change. I have decided on the 15th, but for some reason I couldn´t find the photo, so I´ll post that later, along with possible changes, and the UFO´s.

I´m so exited!!

Crazy January challenge 2012

I was "blogsurfing" in june and came across "crazy january challenge" in many blogs, and curious as I am, I had to find out what it was. So I came to THIS blog, and found out it´s a challenge where you start a new cross stitch project every day from 1-15 of january and then you have the rest of the year to finish them. Of course I was too late in june, but I hoped that there would be a new challenge in 2012, and there will! So I´m in, but I choose a modified version. I start 15 projects, but I also continue with 15 UFOs, and try to get them all done i a year. The problem is, most of my new kits are BIG projects, and so are the UFOs. So I don´t think I will get them done, but I´ll try. I put all projects in a box, there´s still a few months time to decide what to make, and I will keep working on some UFOs. All in all, I think 2012 is going to be an interesting stitching-year!
