Köpte boken för omslagets skull...men ångrar det inte. Boken har varit inspiration till fjärde Pirates of the Caribbean-filmen. Detta är pirat-fantasy, med woodoo, magi, spöken och mycket hav, kanonstrider och svärdviftning! Rekommenderar skarpt, detta är min första Tim Powers-bok, men definitivt inte den sista.
Bought this book because of the cover... but I don´t regret it. This is the inspiration for the fourth Pirates of the Caribbean-movie. It´s pirate-fantasy, with woodoo, magic, ghosts and a lot of sea, cannonbattles and swordfights! I recommend this one, it´s my first Tim Powers-book, but definitely not the last.
